A solid sculpture, in a simple shape. Two separate parts, a light limestone with a dark gray bluestone on top. Carved in structure with the pointed chisel. The shapes mirror each other and coincide. The tension lies in the combination of the materials, but also in the course of the curves and the small kink that the sculpture makes. A sculpture that you actually must see in real life, to experience it’s presence.
Now that it is finished, I am thrown back in time by the similarity with a sculpture I made a long time ago, "Look Through", one of my old favorites.
