This sculpture started with a partially beveled piece of travertine that had been in my studio for years. Quite large in size (for me). I wanted to make a robust form, with a small movement. The basis was there quickly. But it turned out to be quite a quest to get what I wanted. And so this stone sculpture became many kilos lighter during the process. It is now standing, solid and sturdy.
