This sculpture is inspired by ancient ruins and temple gates. With rough, old pieces, and tightly worked parts. A bit whimsical, but also made by human hands. I wanted to allow coincidence in this sculpture, the shape of the stone was the starting point. For me this sculpture is about passing time: the old and the new.
The sculpture is made of Anröchter grünstein, a green-colored sedimentary rock from Germany, where fossils in the form of shells or other plant remains are often visible. You can see that clearly in this sculputure. The dimensions are: part 1 - 52x18x10 cm, part 2 - 38x18x12 cm.
This sculpture is very suitable for placing outdoor.
