Friends gave me a box with leftover tiles of gray travertine. I already thought it was nice to simply stack the tiles on top of each other: the somewhat frayed edges and the rhythm of the repetition. I have elaborated this fact in two little towers: "hollow and convex" and "from square to round". They have become simple, monumental shapes, but in a living room format. A size that fits well in a windowsill, for example.
The base is made of bluestone. I like that they are not massive blocks, there is a bit of space and movement.
