I have never worked with this type of stone before. It is hard, but can be worked by hand.
Breccia is a clastic sedimentary rock. This means that it is formed from larger fragments of pre-existing rock that are cemented together after weathering, erosion and deposition. In this sculptrue you can see both the structure of the chisel stroke and the skin after polishing. It has a beautiful, warm, light colour, with many nuances.
The stone was not that thick, I mainly used the width. A wide gesture, which can evoke associations with spreading your wings, but not so much with flying/taking off. Sturdy and robust, but free from the ground.
I think this sculpture fits nicely in a green environment. It is 1 metre wide, so big enough.
