This sculpture started with the idea of two balancing shapes, together they carry a weight between them and just avoid tipping over. Hence the slightly fluctuating shapes. But while at work, it often happens that more becomes less. I abandoned the idea of the cast iron weight, which would have looked very artificial.
Remaining two abstract shapes, more or less related, but also different, that tend towards each other. In contact, but without the literal connection. The upper part has a smooth finish, as an extra accent.
A sculpture that would fit very nicely in a garden or green environment. I hope to take pictures of that at a later time.
